In January of 2010, Darren & Erin Hudson had been married for 11 years!
Darren took Erin out on a date towards the end of 2009 and asked her to marry him again. They had spent many years trying to overcome huge struggles in their marriage and wanted a fresh start!
Erin & I were already friends and she knew that I am a wedding planner, so she called me and asked if I could help her! I was so moved by their story and I love her anyway, that there was no way I was missing this one!
The budget was low but that didn’t stop us from coming up with some creative ways to make it beautiful! Erin and I spent hours in Trees and Trends agonizing over flowers and decorations, but in the end the simplicity of spanish moss and baby’s breath won out!
The ceremony was so moving and VERY romantic!! After the ceremony, we converted the ceremony site into the reception site. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to accomplish and it ran as smoothly as I could have hoped.
I have to thank my crew, without whom I could never make it all happen. My crew at this wedding consisted of my oldest brother and my oldest son! Thank you so much for doing such a great job!!
